“I just need to know…which one of you slept with my husband?”You know that “till death do us part” bit in the wedding vows? Well, Zoe Danton believed it. One month after she said “I do”, the man she loved is gone, given his marching orders after Zoe discovered a devastating secret. As teenagers facing a crushing loss, Zoe made a pact with her three sisters to stick together no matter what. Now she’s discovered that one of them may have been the reason her husband betrayed her. She’s lost her happy-ever-after, but has she lost a sister too? Thank you to the Boldwood Books and Megan who let me come on the book tour and finally read a five star book! (which I haven’t done for a while)
I know it’s only January, but whilst I was reading this book I thought it will be a perfect summer read. Maybe it’s because I was reading it whilst round a pool but I just found it a light and easy read whilst still managing to keep me hooked and wanting to know who did sleep with Zoe’s husband.
This book had me guessing all the way through which sister had slept with Zoe’s husband as the book has many flashbacks to show that each other of them has had a previous relationship or encounter with the man in question. For a while, I even thought it was the mum. When it was revealed who it actually was, I didn’t guess for a minute it would be her. If you have read the book/ when you read it, I would love to hear people’s thoughts and predictions and see if they was right or wrong!
Not only does Shari write a story line with four sisters with a strong relationship with one another, she also manages to include minor plots which are quite big deals such as working out to much and not eating much, to a single mum bringing up her son whilst being a nurse and one being unhappy in her marriage she sleeps with different men every time she is in a different hotel.
If I didn’t have the chance to review the book, I would defiantly buy it as it was a perfect read for me and I can’t wait to read all her other books!
