Losing my Inhibitions by Olivia Spring

He’s hot, single and off limits. She’s just got her life together after a messy divorce. Should she risk it all for a forbidden fling?
A year after leaving her controlling ex, Roxy’s divorce is finally official. She’s got her confidence and career back on track and is ready to start enjoying some no-strings-attached fun. But just when Roxy thinks she has her dating plan all mapped out, a hot younger single man unexpectedly appears. On paper, he sounds like exactly what Roxy’s been looking for, until she’s warned that he’s strictly off limits. Getting involved with him will put her career, home and everything she’s worked for in extreme jeopardy. There’s a million reasons why Roxy shouldn’t give into his charms. The trouble is, he’s just too tempting… Will Roxy take a chance and risk it all to pursue a forbidden fling? And if she does, can she find a way to let him rock her world, without turning it upside down?”
Firstly, I would just like to thank Olivia Spring for offering me the chance to read and review this book before the publication date. I’m so glad I accepted, as I loved the whole story and the characters. I was hooked from the first page and I finished it within two days (new personal record for me on an e-book!). Right now onto my thoughts on this book and why you should totally go and buy it.
I loved how Olivia wrote about Roxy and all about her negative past with the controlling ex-husband and how Colette was there to help Roxy back on feet with a job working for her company and a room to stay in her house.
After many long hard days at work as she needs an extra pair of hands on her current project ( she also findnds it impossible to say no to the boss/landlady) she has enough one even and goes round to her cousin Alex wanting tips on how to get back out in the dating world and using dating apps.
Roxy thinks what kind of person she wants to date, and even though Colette advises her to go with older men (she says they’ve got more experience and knowledge!) Her one and only encounter didn’t go very well to say the least- first few pages in the book (another reason to buy the book), Roxy decides she wants a hot younger man who will have plenty of energy in the bedroom department!
So when Colette finally decides to arrange for her darling son to come and help out for a few weeks, Roxy is certainly not thrilled as she has seen his photos on his mum’s desk and knows he’ll just be completely spoilt , in the way and unable to help Roxy at all.
WELL, that’s where she is wrong as one day, in walks in a young handsome man who Roxy is instantly attracted to and would defiantly meet all of her dating requirements, the one catch is that the insanely good looking man is Finn. AKA, Colette’s son.
Over the week, Roxy and Finn have been getting on with the work for the upcoming project, becoming friendlier and flirtier is making their chemistry build up and up. |
With threats made from Colette, that no women must go near Finn, will Roxy give up a chance to be happy or will she go behind her boss’s back to have the night of a lifetime?
Let me know what you think of the book, I’m off to read The Middle Aged Virgin to find out about Sophia (PR manager who Roxy Met) and Losing my Inhibitions is the prequel to it.
