I actually emailed the publishing agency to ask if there was any spare proof copies and luckily for me there was!
I loved watching The Act learning about Gypsy Lee and Dee Dee so I knew I would enjoy this book just as much. It took me a few chapters to remember that it isn’t based on the real story. For starters It’s based in England where as the real thing was in America.
The things I loved most about this book, was that I was more interested in the minor characters, especially Jon and Cara as they joined up together to find Grace safe and alive as they both feel like they owe her that.
Jon wrote a negative story about the mother and daughter and the negative relationship they have with the father and ended up causing the two a lot of upset and caused a lot of hate onto himself as the whole community added to his down spiral. Whereas, Cara blames herself Grace’s disappearance as she wasn’t a good enough friend as she felt awkward around her and found easy to surround herself with normality and friends who don’t require round the clock care.

The last few chapters had me hooked, to see how Grace actually knew GoodSam and what actually happened on that night and also what happens when and who gets to Grace first.
I’d recommend anyone who enjoys reading thrillers and interested the real story to buy this book and here is the link: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Grace-is-Gone/dp/0751572691/ref=tmm_pap_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1582921817&sr=1-1
I’ll also be keeping an eye out on any future books by Emily, as she is an amazon author and can write an incredible book!
