Sunrise at Strawberry Farm by Kellie Hailes

Hannah Beety never thought she'd be back working at her family's strawberry farm, but when her mother falls ill, she knows it's time to go home. Returning to help in time for the summer harvest, Hannah's forced to face up to the broken hearts she left behind...
After a decade, Grey Walker cannot believe that the woman he had planned to marry, start a family and live a cosy life with is back. Working side by side with Hannah as they prepare for the annual Strawberry Festival brings back all the memories of his first love he'd tried to bury. But as the summer days lengthen, could letting her in mean losing his heart, again?

My thoughts
I read this book as part of my 100 pages a day challenge! And I'm glad this was the first arc I chose to read this month as it was a nice light summery read and had me escaping to the strawberry farm and working alongside Hannah.
This boom made me feel like I was alongside all the characters and I loved each one and the way Kellie wrote them made me feel like I knew them personally. The ongoing and great friendship between Hannah and Ams was a real one and not a fake one between make up artist and famous actress. The new friendship between Hannah and made me wonder if it will blossom into anything more? And who could not love the reunion of Hannah and Grey when they a attached to each others hips all them years ago.

This  book will have you finding out what made Hannah flee to London, always looking for approval and the will they won't they romance between the two love birds?

Also, I loved the ending of the book as it was such a cute round up of all the characters being together and even some new younger ones🤐

The whole time read this book, it had me wishing I was eating all the yummy strawberry foods mentioned in the book from scones with homemade jam to strawberry ice cream.

This was the first book I've read of Kellie's and I known I will defiantly be reading her other books (once I find them on my bookshelves)

About the author
At the age of five Kellie Hailes declared she was going to write books when she grew up. It took a while for her to get there, with a career as a radio copywriter, freelance copywriter and beauty editor filling the dream-hole, until now. Kellie lives in Auckland, New Zealand with her patient husband and very entertaining daughter. When the characters in her head aren’t dictating their story to her, she can be found taking short walks, eating good cheese and hanging out for her next coffee fix.
